THE PONDS
Ponsford Ponds Holidays offers a selection of quality holiday-let units with private fishing at no additional cost.
The ponds are filled with mirror and common carp up to 10lbs, with various silver fish, bream, roach, rudd and perch. An additional specimen pond is available with carp up to 20lb.
Pond rules
- Sufficient nets for up to 25lb carp
- Landing mats
- Barbless hooks
- No top feeding
- Two rods per person
- No night-time fishing
- Keep nets only in match ponds (Kingfisher)
- Disinfect nets, landing mats etc on arrival
KINGFISHER POND
The kingfisher pond is a match pond of a 0.8 of an acre. It has various species of fish from Common and Mirror carp from 1lb to 10lb. It also contains silver fish from Rudd, Roach, Bream, Tench and Perch up to 2lb.
MALLARD POND
The mallard pond is a speciman pond of a 0.4 of an acre. It has mainly Common and Mirror carp from 10lb to 22lb. It also contains small amount of silver fish and Perch.
GOOSEDOWN POND
The Goosedown pond is a speciman pond of a 0.4 of an acre. It has mainly Common and Mirror Carp from 2lb to 28lb. It also contains small amount of silver fish and Perch.
HOMEVIEW LAKE
The Homeview pond is a speciman lake of 2 acres. It has mainly Common and Mirror Carp from 5lb to 25lb. It also contains a few Silver Fish and Perch.

Perch Cottage
Perch Cottage is a semi-detached, one bedroom cottage located at Ponsford Farm, just 5 minutes from Cullompton on the fringe of the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is a zip and link super kingsize bedroom on the first floor which has an en-suite shower room.
Kingfisher Lodge
Kingfisher Lodge is a luxurious, two-bedroom retreat overlooking the fishing lakes at Ponsford Ponds, which is located just 5 minutes from Cullompton on the fringe of the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
